ProTALKS Addresses Public Health and Education Injustices

December 18, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The CaRE2 Health Equity Center understands that health and health disparities are a result of MANY factors. Even though our primary focus is to eliminate cancer health disparities in Black and Latino populations, it has become essential to pay attention to and address the disparate burden of COVID-19 in the same communities.

The CaRE2 @UF Community Outreach Core is participating in the Florida Community-Engaged Research Alliance Against COVID-19 in Disproportionately Affected Communities (FL-CEAL), building a community based strategy to identify and address reasons that are causing this additional burden. If you would like to stay informed of or contribute to these efforts, please click the flyer above.
